A problem occurred recently where a customer was unable print from Powerpoint 2010. All other applications including other Office applications were able to print fine.
 
Clicking print doesn’t appear to initiate a print job.
 
Turns out… “Print in background” is enabled by default in Powerpoint 2010.
 
After disabling this feature, printing from Powerpoint 2010 began functioning properly.
 
In PowerPoint 2010 Open click “File” button -> Options -> Go to Advanced -> Scroll to Print -> Uncheck “Print In Background”.
